Played throughout the world, American Roulette really is one of the classics.
Here’s how to play:
Put your money or cash chips on the table and ask the dealer for ‘a colour’. The dealer will give you coloured chips unique to you so that they don’t get mixed up with any other player’s.
The next stage is placing your bets. Take one, some, or all of your chips, depending on how lucky you feel, and place your bets on the table. You can choose to bet on a single number, a dozen, a column – there are lots of different ways to bet. Have a look at the table below as a guide. The game begins as the dealer spins the ball; listen out for the Last Bet call as beyond this point, no bets will be counted.
The ball will drop into one of the 37 numbers (0 – 36), 18 red, 18 black and zero. Losing bets will be removed from the table and those that have won will be paid out at the odds shown on the table below.
After the payout you can leave your winning chips on the table ready for the next spin or remove them when you’re ready to leave.
Just ask the dealer to change them back into cash chips. It’s one of the easiest games to play, so give it a go. If you would rather play away from the tables, Electronic Roulette terminals are also available.
