Slaney’s Premiership Preview

It’s another HUGE week in the best league in the world and it’s only right you get your preview from the best blogger in the world. We’ve got the first Old Firm derby of the season while one of Aberdeen, Hibs, or Hearts look likely to lead the table going into September. Read on to hear my thoughts ahead of a massive feast of football this weekend.

Dundee United v Hearts

The Stevie Frail derby they are calling this one. What would the two clubs do to have Shaggy back coaching them? … Absolutely nothing! Boom.

Mulgrew vs Halliday. Neilson vs TC. The Jet vs Shite a Bus. Legends all over it! 2-1 Hearts though. All the best TC.

Hibs v Livingston

Can Livi get their first win of the season? Absolutely not! Martindale is starving for a victory but it’s not happening this week big boy, try again next time. Hibs 2-0 with a Boyle double.

Motherwell v Dundee

I’m going straight in here with a 2-2 draw. I can see two Ricki Lamie own goals coming and I’m only saying that as Crags has been spotted taking him for one to ones this week working on clearances…poor Ricki! A Tony Watt double will ensure they share the spoils… C’mon The Steelmen!

Rangers v Celtic

This is it. The one we’ve all been waiting for…it’s finally here! But let me start by saying we need to stop destroying this game and let the away fans back now. These big shots have a lot to answer for! We all want to see both Celtic Park and Ibrox full with BOTH sets of supporters – it makes it the spectacle it is. But trust me folks this will be the highest scoring Old Firm game in the history of the game. I think the record is something like 7-1 Celtic – please correct me if I’m wrong – and I can see this going even further. Strap yourselves in guys as this is going to be football from the gods. A Kyogo hat-trick and a Morelos double is all I’m predicting here with a Celtic winning the match.

Aberdeen v Ross County

What a great decision from Stevie Glass to rest players against Raith Rovers…not won a game since! McGlynn was the man to put Glass to the sword so I think it’s only write that Stevie wears McGlynn’s specs for the rest of the season. Anyway, I don’t know one Ross County player so I’ll go for Aberdeen to win 1-0 here with a County player scoring an OG from 40 yards!

St Mirren v St Johnstone

0-0 sleeping tablet.

Peace out from the greatest blogger x
