O’Hara’s Hunch: Premier League Gameweek 32 Preview

Grosvenor Sport ambassador Jamie O’Hara is on hand to break down three must-watch matchups in the upcoming Premier League gameweek, including Manchester United’s trip to St James’ Park on Sunday.

Wolves vs Tottenham, Premier League – Sunday 14:00

Wolves will probably feel like they’re safe from relegation now, and be breathing a sigh of relief. Mattheus Cunha has been brilliant, but he could be looking to jump ship at the end of the season. With Kevin de Bruyne leaving, he may view Manchester City as his potential next club, if Pep Guardiola will have him.

Tottenham will only have one thing on their mind; Europa League. The Premier League is completely irrelevant for Spurs now. It is embarrassing for them, if results elsewhere don’t go their way, they could drop to 16th place above Wolves, which is remarkable.

I can’t see this being a great game. Both teams have their minds elsewhere; Wolves are likely to be safe and Spurs are only playing for the Europa League.

Prediction:  Wolves 1-1 Tottenham (11/2)

Liverpool vs West Ham, Premier League – Sunday 14:00

Liverpool have folded a bit recently – they’re going to win the Premier League, but they’ll crawl over the line. If Arsenal hadn’t messed around in some games, it would’ve been a really exciting title race! They were well beaten by Newcastle and Paris Saint-Germain, and since then, they’ve been very average.

West Ham have been poor this year. I haven’t been convinced by them at all. You have to give Graham Potter next season and allow him to bring in some of his own players. He’s got a lot of work to do in summer to get the Hammers back on track.

As average as Liverpool have been, they should have enough to beat West Ham at home.

Prediction: Liverpool 2-1 West Ham (13/2)

Newcastle vs Manchester United, Premier League – Sunday 16:30

Newcastle have the momentum to finish in the top four. It would be an outrageous achievement if they managed to qualify for the Champions League and win a major trophy. Eddie Howe is doing a brilliant job there and they’re in good spirits. They’re making it difficult for Alexander Isak to find a reason to leave. I think the only thing Isak will be thinking is whether he could play for a bigger club.

Andre Onana came under some harsh comments about being one of the worst goalkeepers ever at Manchester United. I think they’ve had worse keepers in their history, and Man United’s last three have been some of the best keepers we’ve ever seen. While he’s had some howlers in goal, I don’t think he’s the worst they’ve ever had. But now he needs to back up his comments with a good performance at St James’ Park.

Man United tend to do okay against better teams and this could be a thriller.

Prediction: Newcastle 2-2 Manchester United (12/1)
