The NFL returns to London for the second instalment of the International Series this weekend, and after the Seahawks dominated the hapless Raiders in a lop-sided affair, the LA Chargers face the Tennessee Titans, who have struggled to score points in recent weeks.
NFL fans hoping for a scoring frenzy may be disappointed, but talent litters both sides and Marcus Mariota is capable of turning it on for the Titans.

Plenty of offensive options for Chargers
The LA based Chargers are designated as the ‘home’ team for the fixture, but while there may not be as many hardcore Chargers fans in attendance, that hasn’t impacted the odds – the Chargers approach the game as comfortable favourites at 1/3 after their comfortable demolition of the Cleveland Browns last time out.
With handy quarterback Philip Rivers at the controls, and a real plethora of offensive options, the Chargers like a touchdown and have no problem moving the chains. A very safe bet is the LA Chargers to score over 2.5 touchdowns, which is 4/6 with Grosvenorsport.com.
Titans to cause shock?
The Tennessee Titans have been a surprise package this season, with some big wins against reigning champions Philadelphia Eagles and highly-rated Jacksonville Jaguars, but have countered that with baffling losses to the Bills and last week’s shutout defeat to the Ravens.
Their defence will have no problem keeping the game close, but if they are to win, Mariota and the offense will need to perform. The Titans are 2/1 to leave London with the W, and are 4/5 to score over 19.5 points, which they will need to do if they are to win the game.
Wembley set for more entertaining game
This game should be a much better spectacle than last week’s game, and fans will witness one of the game’s best QB/RB duos in Rivers and Melvin Gordon face off against upcoming defensive genius, Mike Vrabel, in what should be a fascinating tactical battle.
I think the Chargers will scrape the win, but it will be closer than they would like. The Chargers to win by 1-6 points can be found at 3/1, which is good value, as is a Chargers win and over 45.5 points, which is 11/8.
