When Saturday comes, you know exactly what’s on the way… Million Pound Picks. And a little bit of football.
But we’re spoiling you this week. Because there’s a mountain of midweek matches too. And we thought it’d be rude not to offer you yet another chance of winning £1M.
We’ve got games on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday – but that’s the only difference. You can still win a million with 10 first goalscorers. We’ll still give £2k to the player who gets the most correct. We’ll still give a £10 free bet for anyone who gets three right.
And it’s still FREE TO PLAY.
It only took four correct calls for one lucky player to take home the weekly £2,000. Could you be next?
Here comes our top tips.
Two for Tuesday
The usually free-scoring Chelsea were kept out at the weekend by Everton, and Wolves are a tough nut to crack too. We plumped for Leander Dendoncker at the weekend and he had a couple of glorious chances to sink Villa – we’re staying on board with the big Belgian at 22/1 with Grosvenor Sport.
Then it’s Man City v West Brom. City were also shut out in a dour Manchester derby, but that shouldn’t be the case at home to the Baggies. Ferran Torres loves a goal under the lights – he’s got 4 in the Champions League this season, and he could start a potential procession at the Etihad.
Six of the best
Happy Hump Day – six games to enjoy.
Things go from bad to worse for Arsenal. A 1-0 home defeat to Burnley and now they face high-flying Southampton, who are just two points off top spot. Jannik Vestergaard has scored three goals this season and the great Dane is our choice – he’s 25/1 to score first and 21/2 to score anytime.
Leicester were impressive against Brighton on Sunday and no one more so than James Maddison. The mercurial midfielder netted twice and we’re happy to take him again as Everton roll into town.
Newcastle started and finished strongly to beat West Brom on Saturday but they face a tough gig at Elland Road. You can expect Leeds to dominate proceedings and the pressure will surely tell – talented Brazilian Raphinha is our choice to break down the Magpies’ resistance.
Then it’s on to the later kick-offs. Fulham got a confidence-boosting point against Liverpool and will be hopeful of more here. But aside from the weekend, Brighton have looked good – and Danny Welbeck is our choice to break the deadlock.
Liverpool v Spurs is the big game of the week in a battle between 2nd and 1st. It could be a cracker, but we’re not so sure. No goalscorer is our selection. Dull game, exciting price – you can get 13/1 on that to happen.
A capital clash between West Ham and Crystal Palace brings Wednesday to a close. Sebastien Haller knocked on the door against Leeds with no luck, but this could be his night. It’s the Hammers hitman for us.
Thursday finale
Claret is the order of the day with Aston Villa v Burnley. Although Sean Dyche’s men grabbed three points at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening, we think they’ll find things tougher at Villa Park. The hosts will be buoyant after nicking a late win at Wolves on Saturday, and captain Jack Grealish is our choice to bag first here.
Last but not least, it’s the disaster that is Sheffield United. They face Manchester United and although the Red Devils have been making hard work of games recently, they won’t need to here.
It’s hard to see the Blades ending their losing run any time soon so take your pick. Ours is Bruno Fernandes – but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men could, and should, have a field day at Bramall Lane.
Don’t forget to check the Grosvenor Sport Match Events – you can get the away side to score a penalty at 3/1…
