Jamie O’Hara and Jose Enrique’s Premier League Matchweek 25 Preview

The Premier League is back this weekend with some huge matchups across gameweek 25 as the business end of the season approaches.

Grosvenor Sport ambassadors Jamie O’Hara and Jose Enrique take a closer look at three of this weekend’s key fixtures, giving their thoughts on Brentford versus Liverpool, Manchester City against Chelsea and Tottenham versus Wolves.

Brentford v Liverpool

Jamie O’Hara:

Brentford is always a tough place to go, so this should be a game that will be in the balance. This is a massive game for both clubs. However, I just feel that Liverpool, for the remainder of this season, will keep finding something with the whole Jurgen Klopp leaving fiasco as motivation. This being said, I think Liverpool will scrape all three points.

Liverpool 1-2 7.5/1

Jose Enrique:

This is a big game, both teams need the points. Liverpool need to be picking up points to put themselves in with a chance of winning the League and staying ahead of Manchester City. That will be a difficult task, I think that Manchester City look very strong and are now firing on all cylinders with the likes of Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne back amongst the squad, but they should have too much for Brentford here.

Liverpool 1-3 10.5/1

Manchester City v Chelsea

Jose Enrique:

Manchester City are just a different level to anyone else in the league. Without Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland, they were still up there and performing well, but with them back, they are a different beast altogether. Liverpool and Arsenal are the closest to them, but City are just going to keep performing now, I can’t see anyone but them winning the league. They are way to strong and I think they will smash Chelsea this Saturday.

Manchester City 4-0 14/1

Jamie O’Hara:

This is a huge fixture; I think Chelsea are just hitting some form and they will give this a good go. Team selection will be interesting in this, especially for Manchester City. I’m unsure how Jack Grealish is after his knock in the Champions League, but one thing I am sure of is that when he does come back, he needs to up his game and string some performances together, especially if he wants Gareth Southgate to have him in his mind when thinking about England starting line-up. Look at how Phil Foden has stepped up for Manchester City this season, he’s by far the most talented English player at the moment.

Manchester City 3-1 9/1

Tottenham v Wolves

Jamie O’Hara:

I think that Wolves have been alright under Gary O’Neil, but they still are inconsistent. They were obviously good against Chelsea, and they were unlucky against Manchester United, but they were poor against Brentford at home, so it depends on what Wolves decide to show up. I think Tottenham being at home is a positive for them and although they concede goals, I think the attacking threat is too much for Wolves.

Tottenham 3-1 9.5/1

Jose Enrique:

This is an interesting game and I think it will be tight. Tottenham left it very late to score their winner against Brighton last week, and they can’t leave it that late every week, especially against Wolves who beat Chelsea recently away from home. The injury to Matheus Cunha is significant, as he was a bright spark in Wolves’ setup. I think this will be a tight game and I can see it ending in a draw.

Draw 1-1 8/1
