How to play Ultimate Texas Hold’em™

Ultimate Texas Hold’em™ Features Heads Up Play Against the Dealer & An Optional Bonus Bet

This game gives you several advantages:

  • The earlier you bet, the more you can bet.
  • You do not have to Fold until you see all the community cards.
  • The Trips Bonus pays odds if your final five card hand is a Three of a Kind or better.

Getting Started

Make equal bets in the Ante and Blind circles. You may also make the optional Trips Bonus bet. You will then receive two cards.

Bet Big… or Small… or Not at all.

When you get your two hole cards, you can either check or bet three times or four times your Ante. The dealer then reveals the three card Flop. If you have not already made a Play bet, you have a choice: check or bet two times your Ante. The dealer then reveals the final two community cards. If you have not already made a Play bet you have a choice, Fold, or bet one times your Ante.

Winning and Losing

The dealer then reveals his two hole cards and announces his hand. If your hand beats the dealer’s, your Play and Ante bets win even money. If the dealer’s hand beats yours, your Play, Ante and Blind wagers lose. If you tie, those bets push. The Blind pays if your winning hand is at least a Straight (see Pay Table for odds). If you beat the dealer with less than a Straight, it pushes.

Dealer Qualifying

The dealer needs a Pair to qualify. When the dealer does not qualify, he returns your Ante. All other bets receive action.

How to play

To join the Ultimate Texas Hold’em™ dual spot progressive bet you must first choose the progressive game that you want to play by placing chips on the corresponding bet spot above your playbox at a participating table.

If player wagers on both the denomination options, they will be eligible for all wins in associated pay tables below.

The dealer will then collect all the dual spot progressive bets and continue to deal Ultimate Texas Hold’em as normal.

Progressive and Royal Flush Payouts

Any Royal Flush progressive winning hand can be made from players two cards and the five community cards. There must be at least one player card involved in the Royal Flush. So, it could be one player card and four community cards, or two player cards and three community cards.

Community Royal

The Community Royal (any Ten, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace of the same suit) payout is from the five community cards only and payouts every player with a bet on the progressive sensor.

All other payouts (Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, Full House)

These are made from players two cards and five community cards. They can be any combination of player cards and community cards, or just from the five community cards.

Envy Bonus

All players who have placed a progressive bet are eligible to win an envy payout if any other player at the table (whether the other player has placed a progressive wager or not) has a winning hand which would have qualified for a win with any Royal Flush.
