Harry Skelton Exclusive: Ascot Racing Preview

We’re all set for a right royal day of racing at Ascot this Saturday, and Grosvenor Sport ambassador Harry Skelton very kindly took some time out to give us the lowdown on his weekend rides.

First up for Harry is Stepney Causeway in the 12.40, followed by Roksana in the Grade 2 Mares’ Hurdle at 1.15, before his final race on Bennys King in the handicap chase at 3.00.

There’s plenty of excitement around Roksana after the nine-year-old was beaten by only two lengths when third to Paisley Park and Thymehill in the Grade One in December, and here she’ll be back among her own sex.

Bennys King won a similar event at Ascot just 5 weeks ago and will look to defy a 7 lb rise. Hear Harry’s thoughts here:
