Well that’s a wrap, a huge thank you for all the players who supported grosvenorpoker.com during the biggest online festival we have ever held, GCOOP III. In total, over £185,000 was paid out over the course of 22 events, with 889 unique players competing in an action-packed week on grosvenorpoker.com.

So, the big question, who won the passport? The eventual winner was Jamie “JimtheRock” O’Connor, who incredibly won 3 events and also had a second-place finish. Top bombing Boz!

We are incredibly excited to offer Jamie a GUKPT passport for 2019, granting entry to every main event where we wouldn’t bet against him making his mark. Jamie is no stranger to the biggest live tour in the UK, having finished runner-up in the GUKPT Grand Final in 2017 for a princely £72,000.

Second place finisher and Grosvenor Poker regular Tommy “Azul” Le finished second, banking a £1,110 GUKPT ticket as a consolation prize whilst “crowden” came third after falling short at the last.

How the Final Day Played out…

Event #19 – Main Event: The main event was one of the few events which overlayed during this series, missing the guarantee by £500. 245 players battled in this deepstack freezeout format with Mark “TrapSnapFapz” Dyson showing his talent and taking home a handsome £5,050 for his play.

Event #20 – This £30 Freezeout had a substantial overlay, generating £4,648 from entries (£6k GTD). Geezo made the most of this value, banking £1,380 for his efforts.

Event #21– This much-anticipated Super-High-Roller carried a hefty £530 buy-in and attracted 62 entries to smash the £20,000 guarantee. Cash game regular “MRGOSNEY2U” defeated “TheNibbler” headsup to take home £8,600 for his troubles whilst his adversary banked £5,735.

Event #22– Serial casher and grosvenorpoker.com wizard “Crowden” took this one down, after we saw some “interesting” play during the rebuy period from players competing for the passport. This was Crowdens second victory during GCOOP and saw him add another £840 to his profit for the week.

GCOOP will return in May for the Spring championship that will offer the series winner a luxurious trip to Las Vegas with #TeamGrosvenor!
