Welcome back to Day 2 of the GUKPT Manchester Main Event where there are 92 players coming back for another ten levels of play.

Maregedze leads final 14 – 00:15

Day 2 of the GUKPT Manchester Main Event started today with 101 players and after ten levels of play we are down to just 14 players who have bagged up chips or tomorrows Day Three.

Today has flown by, with players dropping like flies, we lost 7 players in 12 minutes as we approached the bubble and didn’t even need to go hand for hand. Rob Boon was the unfortunate bubble boy, busting to Riggy straight flush.

Ben Maregedze holds a commanding chip lead going into the final day. He has 1.4million of the 6.6million in play. Full chip counts are:

The turn comes an 8 giving Kellett a straight and leaving Raul drawing dead!

Kellett takes the pot and now has just short of a million!

The blinds increase as we begin level 20.

Huge Pots – 22:55

Richard Kellett has just won a huge pot from Harry Ross and D.A, betting 170,000 into 400k on a board of 5–3–8–J–10 Harry made the call after four minutes in the tank. Kellett had it, tabling pocket fives for a set which was good to take the pot. He has now span his 25k stack three and a hal hours ago into 850k!!

On the feature, Ben Maregedze won a huge pot from Riggy showing up with a flush. Ben is now up t 1.1million while Riggy is down to 350k.

Good morning and welcome back to Manchester for Day 2 of the GUKPT Manchester Main Event. The prizepool currently stands at £298,000, but late registration is still open and players can buy in for 16 big blinds before Day 2 starts. Once it starts then registration closes.

This has been the biggest GUKPT Manchester Main Event since 2008 so there is going to be serious money up top.

Today we play another ten levels of play and should finish the day with two tables who will be back tomorrow for the final day. We’ll be bringing you live blog updates, pictures, chip counts and the live stream which runs on a thirty minute delay with all hole cards shown.
