GUKPT Luton Day 3 Blog

All the action from Luton where 17 players are coming back to do battle.

The players are guaranteed £1,700 but all have their eyes on the first place prize of £50,050.

Goodbye From Luton – 22:05

What another amazing event on the GUKPT Tour!

No one could have imagined 382 entries in Luton for the first £500 event here, but that’s exactly what happened! The players were out in force to support thee UKs longest running poker tour.

The event has run like clockwork and played in great spirits. £190,000 in the prizepool but there were smiles on faces and the atmosphere in the cardroom has been great all week!

The tournament has been won by Chris Louch who was playing his first GUKPT Main Event in 12 years! Only previously playing GUKPT Blackpool in 2007. It’s second time lucky for Chris as he heads home with the trophy.

Thanks for joining us and interacting with us over the last four days of play. We will be back in a months time for another £500 at The Poker Room in London. Where we’ll have over 400 entries!

Until next time, be lucky!
