GUKPT Leeds Day 3 Blog

GUKPT Leeds Day 3 Blog

We’re back in Leeds for the third and final day of the GUKPT Main Event.

15 players coming back to play down to a winner.

The players are all guaranteed £1,870 but their eyes will be firmly on the £50k up top!

Goodbye From Leeds – 21:15

WOW! Leeds definitely didn’t disappoint! The 2019 GUKPT Leeds Main Event has been the biggest EVER by some distance!  The 382 entries smashed the previous record of 308 right out of the water.

After 9 hours of play the chip are all packed away and the trophy has been handed to our new champion Brett Angell. He was the one player in the 6 way chop that wanted to play on for the trophy, so it was very fitting that he won.

Leeds has been a huge success and the cardroom has been buzzing every single night of the week long festival. This is definitely one of the favourite stops on tour.

Leg 7 takes place in Luton and will be another busy one, beginning in just three weeks time, so please join us there.

Until next time, be lucky!
