There are just 14 players coming back for Day 3 of the GUKPT Blackpool Main Event.

Goodbye From Blackpool – 18:20
Wow! Well what a week it has been! Record numbers in the Mini Main and record numbers in the main! Cash games running 24/7 and the whole casino buzzing! The UK Poker Community always turn out for GUKPT Blackpool, but this year it was like no other.
A massive 367 entries in the main event, smashed the 2007 record by 14 entries. Today 14 was the number of players we had coming back and in close to record time it’s all over! We think it’s the second quickest final day in GUKPT History, only coming second to GUKPT Newcastle way back in 2009 which was won by Tony Philips.
Matt Eardley has become the latest GUKPT Champion and it’s fully deserved! He increased his stack today level on level and eventually chopped the money with Terry Jordon. They then flipped for the trophy and Matt came out on top.

We will be back for more coverage in a few weeks time when the Grand Final takes place in London. It’s going to be the biggesst and best one ever with the events that are going on over the two weeks. 18th November – 1st December are the dates! Join us in the Poker Room!
