GCOOP: Road To Vegas Day 3

GCOOP Day 3 delivered, with some great matchups and intense games. There was plenty of excellent (and not-so-great) play rewarded. This was an excellent opportunity for players to capture much-needed “Road to Vegas” Leaderboard points and build on their journey to join #TeamGrosvenor this Summer.

Heads Up

Heads Up has always been my personal favourite poker form of poker. No place to hide, no hiding behind tight ranges; a place where good strategy, aggression and a proper understanding of exploiting your opponent’s tendencies, hand ranges and aggression pays dividends.

Both events kicked off simultaneously, with 114 players competing in the High Event, with “Eclipse101” bossing the event and taking the lion’s share with a £950 payday. Runner up “BigLeague” also scored well, pocketing £575 for his sterling effort.

In the low event, 167 players ponied up £5 to create a paid prizepool of £835, far less than the £2,000 guaranteed. The eventual winner was “mcflurryoreo”, beating “Wallace1989” headsup to collect £540.

Road To Vegas Leaderboard

3 days into the second ever Grosvenor Championship of Online Poker, the leaderboard is still young although some players have built a very solid foundation on which to build further points. As is stands, ‘Eclipse101’, ‘mcflurryoreo’ and ‘zrGrizz’ will be joining #TeamGrosvenor for a week in Vegas and at shot at the $1,500 Millionaire Maker. However, there are plenty more events to come, including the double points Main Events on Sunday so everyone has a chance at the top 3 spots!

Tonight’s GCOOP Events

Tonight’s events are Deepstack Turbos, with the High event at 7pm (£5k GTD…likely overlay, you heard it here first) and the Low event (£1k GTD- check if you have a free ticket in your account…) at 8pm.
