Tottenham v Brighton (Thursday, 12.30pm) – Lucas Moura
Ever since Jose Mourinho walked through the doors at Tottenham, the north London club’s big players have stepped up. Lucas Moura has been one of them, and the Brazilian has been backed to strike first when the Seagulls visit the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Aston Villa v Norwich (Thursday, 3pm) – Wesley Moraes
Villa’s record £22million signing Wesley Moraes is a player who could become better as time goes on, and he has still contributed a few key goals this season. You can’t help but think that more is to come from the Brazilian, and he’s selected to do the business against Norwich on Boxing Day.
Bournemouth v Arsenal (Thursday, 3pm) – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
It’s been a season to forget for Arsenal so far, but you have to think that a new manager will give them a boost. Skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has still been a steady performer by chipping in with vital goals, and he looks the likeliest first scorer at the Vitality Stadium on Thursday.
Chelsea v Southampton (Thursday, 3pm) – Tammy Abraham
Chelsea supporters have raved about Tammy Abraham this season, and it’s easy to see why. The frontman has been the Blues’ main man and given he scored against Southampton at St Mary’s earlier this season, he’ll be confident he can do so again in front of his own supporters this time.
Crystal Palace v West Ham (Thursday, 3pm) – Michail Antonio
Michail Antonio gives West Ham a completely different dimension and, although results haven’t completely gone their way, since his return from injury he has looked a goal threat. A short trip to Crystal Palace on Boxing Day could go the Hammers’ way, and the attacker will be a threat to the Eagles defence.
Everton v Burnley (Thursday, 3pm) – Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Dominic Calvert-Lewin helped himself to two goals when Chelsea visited Goodison Park recently, and in that sort of form, he is a major threat to any defence. Burnley will be wary of the threat he’ll bring when they visit Merseyside on Boxing Day.
Sheffield United v Watford (Thursday, 3pm) – Lys Mousset
There have been a number of great performers in the Sheffield United side this season and is Frenchman Lys Mousset is one of them. Important goals against Arsenal and Manchester United amongst others have won the hearts of Blades fans, and he will be keen to add to the misery of bottom club Watford’s poor season.
Reading v Queens Park Rangers (Thursday, 7.30pm) – George Puscas
Reading might be below QPR in the table, but Reading are fighting to claw their way up the wrong end of the table, and George Puskas has been in decent form as of late. A hat-trick against Wigan away from homemade it nine goals in 27 appearances this season, and he’s made the Grosvenor Goals list for the week.
Manchester United v Newcastle (Thursday, 5.30pm) – Marcus Rashford
If Manchester United perform, Marcus Rashford often does too. The England international is able to turn on the style with the flick of a switch, and Newcastle will see him as the main threat when they visit Old Trafford.
Leicester v Liverpool (Thursday, 8pm) – Jamie Vardy
Liverpool often find it tough at the King Power, and while they will know a victory is a huge step towards the title, the Foxes will want to give them something to think about. Jamie Vardy has been in electric form this season and he’s fancied to shock the Reds with the first goal in the late kick-off.
