Fighting in his own backyard, Dillian Whyte will approach this fight very confidently. With only one loss in his career, to unified World Champion Anthony Joshua, Whyte is every bit the equal of Parker on paper.

Joseph Parker was underestimated by some when he took on Anthony Joshua in his last fight but put his critics to bed with a strong performance in an ultimately fruitless unanimous points defeat, which is incidentally also his only loss.
During the fight he showcased his iron chin wearing punches that would have put down many a wild animal let alone a human.
A strong technical boxer, his patience and recent Championship experience could outlast Whyte, who is occasionally wild and Parker to win on points can be backed at 6/4.

With so much at stake for these boxers, it is very much a case of a can’t lose matchup. The winner is likely to join the queue to face Joshua while the loser will have to bide his time before realising their title opportunities.
