Andy Hills came onto Grosvenor Poker’s radar in 2017 when he won the first ever GCOOP (Grosvenor Championship of Online Poker). Andy is a globetrotting poker player with an impressive record of cashing in poker tournaments across 32 countries, and subsequently amassing total earnings of more than £1,000,000.
Andy has been a regular on the Grosvenor Poker scene since 2010 where he marked his very first win in the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Blackpool Summer Series. Since then, Andy has had many wins in Grosvenor Poker events, a particular highlight included his 1st place in the GUKPT Manchester Main Event back in 2017 for £47,000.
Among all his career highlights, Andy recalls his all-time favourite event being at The Wynn in Vegas where he won $72,799. When asked about that event, Andy said: “I was there on a Team Grosvenor Vegas trip and on my first day of the trip I played a $1,000 buy-in and won just shy of $73,000 dollars.”

Andy’s number one tip for beginners…
“It’s good to go on forums looking for advice, post your hand – but a lot of people do repeat bad advice, so try not to be too oriented around hands you lost.”
