Leicester have had a few stars this season as Brendan Rodgers’ side have surprised everyone with their run in the Premier League, and James Maddison is one who has caught the eye. The skilful attacker regularly creates chances for himself and others, and he will have his eye on goal at the Foxes visit West Ham in the evening kick off.
Burnley v Manchester United (Saturday, 7.45) – Anthony Martial
A Manchester derby goal for Anthony Martial was long overdue, and the Frenchman is a player at Old Trafford who can create something special out of nothing. That could be much needed at a ground like Turf Moor where even the big teams can find things tough.
Arsenal v Chelsea (Sunday, 2pm) – Mason Mount
Chelsea’s homegrown players have thrived under Frank Lampard, and Mason Mount has been given the freedom to enjoy his football just like he did last season at Derby. He’s been backed to break the deadlock at the Emirates for the pick of the final fixtures in 2019.
Birmingham v Leeds (Sunday, 3pm) – Patrick Bamford
Patrick Bamford is Leeds’ top scorer this season with nine in 23 appearances. Marcelo Bielsa’s side are two points off the top of the league and will want to be top heading into 2020. Bamford could be the man to help them do so by scoring the opening goal at St. Andrew’s.
Liverpool v Wolves (Sunday, 4.30pm) – Sadio Mane
Liverpool haven attacking line that could threaten any defence in Europe, and Sadio Mane has been arguably their most consistent performer this season. Goals, assists, and tireless performances have led him to him receive the plaudits, and he’ll earn even more with an opening goal against Wolves, which could help Liverpool to 50 unbeaten Premier League games at Anfield.
Manchester City v Sheffield United (Sunday, 6pm) – Kevin De Bruyne
After an injury ravaged campaign last season, Kevin De Bruyne is back to his best this year and a couple of stunning goals against Arsenal in December have showed how devastating he can be. Sheffield United will be wary of the Belgian from long range and in and around the box.
